Greenwich Comedy Festival 2024: The Old Naval College, Greenwich. 2024 

I had been wanting to see comedian Red Richardson for a while and when he performed for the Boatshow Comedy Club in October 2022, he did not disappoint.  The son of Comic Strip legend, Peter Richardson, he was a truly inspired act, with a resemblance of actor Jack Black (as mentioned in his set) and traces of Johnny Vegas in his delivery.  His exceptionally clever and well-constructed stories and routines were performed with a despondent delivery and cheerful misery.

Richardson appeared at the Greenwich Comedy Festival that I watched in London in September 2024.  With his trademark dourness, I, along with the rest of the audience, could not stop laughing and I made a point of seeing this very funny comedian again very soon.
