Comedian Alexandra Haddow was the first act for 21 Soho Presents that I watched in October 2022. Bright, enthusiastic, and energetic, she got the night off to a great start with a routine involving the frustrations in life delivered with a gleeful cheekiness and naughtiness.
Haddow’s solo Edinburgh Fringe debut, Not My Finest Hour, in August 2023 was a well-constructed show describing her confession of an affair with a married celebrity. She was a great storyteller with good jokes and provided a solid hour of entertainment.
In October 2023, she appeared at Always Be Comedy and again, her on-stage warmth delivering hilarious stories about relationships shone through.
